The completion of the second phase of our building project was marked on Sunday 16 May by the blessing of the Hall by Canon Andrew Nunn, the Sub-Dean of Southwark Cathedral. Canon Andrew commented that this was probably the only church hall in the diocese with a "veranda" (actually an external walkway joining the new kitchen and the Church lobby).

We are now enjoying the benefits of the new kitchen and its modern equipment. Resurfacing of the Hall floor will take place during Holy Week 2011 to avoid further disruption to our regular lets who were very accommodating when the builders needed access at short notice.

To fund phases 1 and 2 of BOFF we raised £150,000 including grants from The City Bridge Trust, Allchurches Charitable Trust, Britland Charitable Trust and St Munro's Charitable trust to all of whom we extend our very grateful thanks.
